Vortex Valve Tornado Tube Description
Let science come to life with the Vortex Valve Tornado Tube! With just a flick of the wrist, an impressive tornado in a bottle is created.
You can create and harness a tornado by using a full bottle of water and then connecting it to another empty bottle of the same size with our special Tornado Tube Vortex Valve.
Flip and flick the bottles for instant tornado action!
You can even add food colouring, detergent (for bubbles) and/or different oils to the water for even cooler effects.
Now supplied with two ‘0-ring’ seals to protect against leakage.
Please note:
- Water activities can get tricky, so it helps to be outside before starting (or over a science bench/sink/wet area). If you experience leakage, try wrapping some cling wrap around the threads of the bottles.
- It is normal to experience a small amount of water on the outside, depending on the bottles used.

Great connectors
(5)By: Great connectors on 24 October 2018I've had these tornado tube valves before (from another supplier), and these were a replacement. I was definitely happy, as these came with 'O' rings to prevent leakage, which has always been a problem in the past.

(5)By: Nora on 25 September 2018My daughters project was due in 5 days and we ordered from more 2 science and it came extra quick for us within 48hrs, other kids projects were leaking but not my daughters.. the team at more 2 science supplied rubber stoppers to stop leaks from the bottles.. her project was a stand out and received an A grade :) Thanks More 2 science!
